Freshmen win the Consolation Bracket for the 2021 Stockton Classic

Congratulations to our Freshmen team for finishing 9th out of 48 teams in the Stockton Classic! After dropping their first match of the day, our Freshmen team went on to win the rest of their matches ultimately winning the consolation bracket. Great job ladies and coaches!

Varsity takes 2nd Place in the 2021 Christine Craft Invitational

On Saturday, September 11th, our Varsity team participated in the Christine Craft Invitational hosted by Oak Ridge. The Wolfpack finished 2nd in their pool, then went on to win their next 3 matches in a row to face St. Francis in the finals. Our Wolfpack fell to St. Francis in 2 sets but walked away finishing 2nd place.

Bailey Holblitzell Commits to University of Redlands

Varsity qualifies for States & is headed to the Section Semi-Finals!!

Congratulations to our Varsity team for beating Folsom in round 1 of the SJS Section Playoffs and St. Mary's in round 2 to qualify for the State Tournament and also to advance into the SJS Section Semi-Finals Match! Good Luck Pack!

Ramonni Cook Commits to University of the Pacific!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Outside Hitter / Middle Ramonni Cook for committing to play volleyball at the University of the Pacific beginning Fall 2020!! We were lucky Ramonni and her family moved to California and have been so excited she has been with us for the last 3 years. Since she transferred as a Sophomore, Ramonni has been a 3 year starter on varsity. She was the team captain her Senior year and also led the team in kills and blocks! We will miss the heart and spirit you provided to the team and be so sad to see you go; but we are so excited to see what you do next!!

Varsity lost their first set of the Stockton Classic Invitational but fought back to win their next 3 matches to finish the day 3-1 & win the consolation bracket. In the process, Senior Setter, Haley Burdo earned a spot on the All Tournament team!! Great job Pack!

Haley Burdo Commits to Stanislaus State!!

CONGRATULATIONS to setter and 4 year Wolfpack captain, Haley Burdo, for committing to play at Stanislaus State!! Haley has been a 4 year starter on varsity. She set the Program record for Most Aces in a season - 97, Most Assists in a season – 1,058, Career Aces  - 142 and Career Assists – 1,642! We will be sad to see you go but so excited to see what you do next!!

Amaria Kelley Accepts Scholarship to Fresno State University

CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Right Side / Outside, Amaria Kelley, for accepting a full ride scholarship to Fresno State University!! Kelley has been a 4 year starter on varsity and our captain for the last 3 years. She set the Program record for Most Kills in a season - 528, most career kills  - 1,078 and career hitting percentage - 0.243%! We're sad to see you go but so excited to see what you do next!!

5 Players Qualified for the 2018 USA Volleyball Girl's Junior National's!!

Congratulations to 4 Members of the COHS Volleyball Program who have qualified with their respective teams for the USA Volleyball Girls Junior Nationals Championships (GJNC) to be held in Detroit at the end of June!! GJNC is an annual event in which teams must compete to qualify by either winning a Qualifier or finishing high enough within their Region’s League. The following 4 players have worked hard during their club seasons to earn this honor. Congratulations and Good Luck to:

Amaria Kelley & Haley Burdo Selected for the 2017-2018 All City Team

Congratulations to Amaria Kelley and Haley Burdo who were named to the 2017-2018 All City Team sponsored by SportStars Magazine, the Sacramento River Cats, and the US Army.

Varsity Takes 2nd in the Super 8

In their second to last tournament of the season, Varsity was invited to participate in the 2017 Super 8 held by St. Francis High School.
Our Varsity Team finished the Super 8 Invitational defeating Vacaville, St. Mary's, and St. Francis. They finished the tournament in 2nd place, loosing in the championship match to Ponderosa.

Freshmen Win the Silver Division of the CIVT

Our Freshmen team finished their morning pool 2-1 moving them into the Silver bracket. In bracket play, our Freshmen team fought hard to make their way to the Silver bracket championship game where they were to face a tough Chico team. After a long battle, our Freshmen team came out on top winning the Silver bracket! Great job ladies and coaches!

First Bus Trip of 2017

With the start of League, our Program enjoys their first bus trip of the 2017 season! GO PACK GO!!

Varsity at the High Sierra Classic

On the first day of the High Sierra Classic, Varsity went 3-0 to win their pool. On the 2nd day, they kept the ball rolling with a 2-0 start to their pool and then lost a 3 set match to Ponderosa to move them into the Silver bracket of the tournament. Varsity wrapped up their 2-day Reno tournament with an 8-1 record and a 1st place finish in the silver division.

Preseason Home Opener vs. Tokay

At our first home game of the 2017 season last Friday, 8/25, all 3 teams were victorious! Freshmen looked tough defeating the Tokay Freshmen team in 2 straight sets. JV also looked great, hopping out to an early 8-0 lead in the first set and also winning their game in 2 sets.

Varsity took the court for the first game of the 2017 season and completed the Program Sweep by winning their match 3-0.

Foundation Match vs. Pleasant Grove - 8/28/17

Varsity beats Pleasant Grove in an exciting 5 game thriller. Way to start the season strong ladies! Thank you to all those who came to support!! GO PACK GO!!

CO Sweeps Tokay in all 3 levels at the Preseason Home Opener

CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Libero, Christal Wong, who committed to play volleyball for Pace University in Massachusetts Fall 2017! Christal has accepted a spot as a defensive specialist / right side player. Christal has played volleyball for our program for 1 year on JV and 3 years on Varsity. She was named Defensive Player of the year her Senior Year, and has a 4.42 GPA! Good luck Christal!

Senior Christal Wong Commits to Play Volleyball at Pace University

Sheff Selected for the Senior Optimist Volleyball Match 2016

Congratulations to Senior Outside Hitter, Sydni Sheff, who represented Cosumnes Oaks High School in the South Side of the Large School Match of the Optimist Game. She was selected to play alongside other Senior Super Stars from the area on Saturday, December 17th at 7:00 pm at Rio Americano High School. Congratulations and Good luck Sydni!

CONGRATULATIONS to our Program's first player to accept a Full Ride Scholarship to a D1 college. Leanne Newell was a 4 year Varsity Player, 3 year MVP, 3 year Captain and 4 year All League Player. Good luck at UC Riverside Leanne! 

CONGRATULATIONS to Jaysonna Johnson who committed to play for UC Merced! Jaysonna played 2 years on JV and 2 years on Varsity. She was named MVP 3 times, received All-League Honors and was also a 2 year captain. Good luck at UC Merced!
